Foster: TV
British Olympic swimmer Mark Foster has launched a new television channel dedicated to the British Olympic swimmer Mark Foster.
FosTV (channel 913 on Sky) will primarily feature archive footage of Foster’s swimming along with reruns of the sprint freestyler’s many recent appearances on shows such as Celebrity Mastermind, Countdown and Dancing on Wheels.
However, FosTV will also feature original programming specially commissioned for the channel, including current affairs show News of Mark at Ten, a remake of quiz show Family Fortunes entitled Foster Parents and Kill Bill, a reality TV show.
Foster, 63, has been increasingly present on British television screens following his participation in the Beijing Olympics and musical celebrity dating show Strictly Come Dancing back in 2008.
The five-time Olympian becomes the first British swimmer to launch their own TV channel since Olympic breaststroke champion David Wilkie launched Dave in 2004 to show repeats of old episodes of Top Gear.
