Speedo to cater for all three possible body shapes

Body shapes: All three plus the other one

Body shapes: All three plus the other one

Leading swimwear manufacturer Speedo has launched a new range of women’s swimming costumes that cater for all three female shapes.

The new range is the first time that all three possible physical configurations have been catered for. It is being promoted by celebrity psychologist de jour Dr Linda Papadododopoulos.

Each of the designs incorporates a range of unique features tailored to the specific shape of the swimmer. The rather ambitiously named Bust Shaper, Waist Smoother and Tummy & Hip Sculptor all use ‘smart seaming to create a more balanced shape’ and ‘firm control shaping support’. One of the designs even goes as far as featuring no shoulder straps, described as ‘a spectacularly good idea’ by competitive swimmers and divers alike.

As part of the promotional campaign for the new range Dr Papadododopoulos, who was selected for her frequently-publicised love of swimming and definitely not for any other reason to do with her appearance, will be uploading a series of motivational vodcasts to the Speedo website.

At £100 for each costume it is felt a relatively large amount of motivation may be required.
